Custom Nodes on SSRouter S1

Current S1 interfaceReviewed September 10, 2026

Use managed nodes for normal S1 use

Open Nodes to select a managed node. You do not need to import a separate connection link to use that list.

The Custom Nodes “Use this node” action is not implemented in this firmware. Saving a custom entry does not mean the router has connected through it. The message “Use node feature pending implementation” indicates this limitation, not necessarily incorrect connection details.

What does the import screen accept?

The screen's SSRouter Link format begins with ssrt:// and contains a Trojan configuration. This does not establish support for other VPN protocols or every provider's link format.

A node link contains credentials. Do not post it publicly, include it in screenshots, or paste it into an online decoder.

What should I do instead?

  1. Return to Nodes, not Custom Nodes.
  2. Select a managed node and wait for the operation to finish.
  3. Check Current Node, select Global or Smart as needed, and test ordinary browsing.
  4. Contact support if you specifically require a custom deployment.

Do not disable certificate verification, change advanced SNI fields, reset the router or install unverified firmware to work around this limitation.
